On February 25th, 2022, the Zeta Xi House Corporation honored our outgoing Treasurer, Chuck, by establishing The George “Chuck” Wallace Wooten Lifetime Loyalty Award honoring his lifelong commitment to the Zeta Xi chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha. View the Proclamation
This upcoming February, a worthy alumnus will be recognized as the second recipient of the Wooten Loyalty Award. To be eligible of this fine distinction, the recipient must have met the following criteria, as established by the nomination committee.
Minimum Requirements
- Nominees are not required to be initiates of the Zeta Xi chapter; however, must be initiated members of the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity; and
- Must have achieved a minimum 25 years of alumnus status, recorded in good standing, with Memorial Headquarters; and
- Served a minimum of one full term as an officer or board member on the House Corporation or Alumni Association; or
- Served a cumulative 36 months as a member on the Alumni Advisory Board to the chapter; or
- Served a cumulative 36 months as the chapter advisor to the Zeta Xi chapter.
Nomination Process
Any member in good standing1 of the Zeta Xi House Corporation may nominate an alumnus for the Wooten Loyalty Award.
The nomination period closes on February 7th, 2025.
1 Article III Section 1 of the Zeta Xi House Corporation states: “Qualifications. Membership in the Corporation shall be limited to the incorporators, and to any alumnus, in good standing, of the Zeta Xi Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity.
